Cheryl, I live in Florida and own two of these fireplaces. I have
owned them for a few months and love love them. They create such a warm
and cozy environment. I assume you are thinking of placing them outside?
I would not have them outdoors, not sure of the material, but think its
steel and it will rust in time. Indoors, I see these lasting years and
years. I have received countless compliments from friends and families
on how nice try look. My walls are cranberry colored, so the black color
pops out and looks very stylish. It's one of my favorite furniture
pieces, no regrets here. Hope this helps.
